The following is the Provisional List of Senior Ministerial/Official Passwords for use with Ministerial Red Boxes.

• The Prime Minister: BOSS
• The Deputy Prime Minister: BULLDOG
• The Home Secretary: HOUSEWIFE
• The Chancellor of the Exchequer: CASHIER
• The Minister Without Portfolio: DOME
• The Cabinet Secretary: HUMPHREY

Only in the most exceptional circumstances may these passwords be used to bypass the Signet Ring/Fingerprint Readers fitted to Ministerial Red Boxes.
